One day I was walking in my town of Ubud Bali when I saw a man selling fishes in plastic bags. I was sad to see such view but there was not much I could do about it at the moment, so I went to my studio and painted this painting. What I saw was only a very small part of this entire tragedy, and we can only make a change if we do it together. Little by little.

It is quite obvious, by looking at this painting, that I'm a cat person. In my own view, cats are very mysterious creatures. They are mostly quiet, yet when you look into their eyes, you suddenly feel so much connection. Plus the fact that they are always curious, always want to know things and relate with me a lot. I also like birds, mandalas, and florals, so I put them all in this piece of art, in a psychedelic style that is full of colors, and I keep them symmetrical. Lucid dreaming is one of the greatest thing to achieve, although it doesn't happen every night. I have had my lucid dream once and of course the first thing I did was flying high up the sky! Other people who told me their lucid dreaming experience also flew in their dreams. I suppose that's what many people wish to have, the ability to fly like birds.
